This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary of ensuring that young women have the financial resources to pay for their abortion procedures.

Thanks to our foundations, donors and friends, the Chicago Abortion Fund has had the opportunity to assist these young women with access to reproductive choice for 25 years through grants, advocacy and leadership development.

Today we are asking you to sponsor our 25th anniversary celebration at the Bronze Level.

As a small organization doing the extremely critical work in providing financial assistance and organizing young women who’ve had abortion procedures, we rely on the generosity of individuals and foundations to make this work possible. Our anniversary celebration this September in downtown Chicago will be a fabulous event!  We are not only celebrating our ability to have done this work for 25 years, but we will acknowledge the work of “Jane”.  Activists, friends and family members of those involved with the “Jane Collective” came together 25 years ago to start the Chicago Abortion Fund.  
The Abortion Counseling Service of Women's Liberation, better known by its nickname "Jane", began as an underground referral group. Eventually they decided to perform the abortions themselves.  We believe it is critical to remember the work of this powerful group and this time in history, particularly in light of the current legal restrictions women face across the country trying to access their legal right.  
By sponsoring the 25th Anniversary Celebration, you will be demonstrating to the audience and broader community that you  understand the challenges young women face in trying to control their reproductive health; and that you support the work Chicago Abortion Fund is doing on behalf of these young women.
